Gamu Nhengu.
Hey Gamu! I think this was a nice change in genre from the stuff you've been recently singing. I think this is beginning to direct you out of the RnB style and more into the Soul genre which in my opinion, is where you're meant to be. So yes, I thought this was a really good performance to start us off tonight. Well done!

Stacey Solomon.
Hey Stacey, I might as well just say this now; I thought this was a fantastic choice of song by your mentor. Albeit was a little dull, it suited Stacey exceptionally well and it gave us a chance to see some real vocals from Stacey and isn't as indie as I would have thought... which again, is a massive plus. Very well done, Stacey!

Gamu

I love when you sing sassy, brassy songs, and this was a brilliant song for you to explore that soulful side of your voice. It was fun, spunky, and simply brilliant. It's a great choice for your style and your vibe, and I think that this song is one of your best in the competition. Well done!

Stacey

Stacey, Rilo Kiley is one of my favorites, and so are you. It's an amazing choice for you, and I really think you can sell this song. You rocked it, Stacey, and there isn't much more to say other than well done, and I can't wait to see your next song.

Gamu

You are two for two in my eyes tonight, Gamu. That was a great, subtle choice for your voice, and it was an amazing compliment to the first song. These past two weeks, you have started to emerge as finalist material, and I think that you are even starting to outshine your fellow girl. Great night, Gamu. This was beautiful.

Dollies

I can already tell this night is going to be amazing. I loved this performance, ladies! This was one of the best songs we have ever heard from you, and I think that this song is exactly the type of indie you should be singing. While I'd love to see something more mainstream from you all too, I loved this performance a lot, and you are back in form. Well done!

Gamu Nhengu.
I guess that's one good performance from Gamu tonight, and one excellent one. I thought this cover was an amazing choice so I hope your mentor continues down a similar path. The slower version of the song really allowed you to show off your vocals and I genuinely enjoyed it, very well done Gamu.

Dolly Rockers.
Hey girls! I'm afraid to say that I really didn't enjoy this performance tonight. I thought it could have been a fine performance but I just really didn't enjoy it at all? I understand the pick, but I didn't enjoy it. I don't really know what I'm trying to say. I'm puzzled by this song tonight unfortunately, though I'm sure the other mentors will love it, & I'm looking forward to your second song.

Dolly Rockers.
And here is your second song, which I have to say, is excellent. So there you go, one bad performance (in my opinion) and one excellent one. I thought this had more of a dynamic edge to the song and generally made it more enjoyable to watch and listen to. Yes, I enjoyed this performance girls, particularly the verses, well done girls.

Nicole Lawrence.
Hey Nicole! This was a really good song choice for you tonight. I thought it was the slight bit dull, but it was suited to you. I think you need a song a little more challenging for your vocals though, as this is edging towards RnB and I'm not a fan of that! This was good though Nicole, well done.

Dollies

Girls, I loved this even more than your first song. This was what I wanted from your KStew performance last show - a rock song with more singing and less screaming. Once again, you are two for two tonight, and I loved this performance a lot. It was great. Good work!

Nicole

I see how this performance was a good fit for you vocally, but I can't help but wonder if we have seen songs like this time and time again from you? I think that you are slowly slipping into the realm of becoming one dimensional, and this song was pretty similar to some of your other recent performances. I'd really like to see you shake it up next time around, but, for now, this was a great vocal, if a little same-y.

Stacey

Just as I thought Gamu would beat you out tonight, you come out with this song. I LOVED it, Stacey! It was brilliant, and I honestly can't imagine a final without you in it. Keep up with this consistency, and you'll be perfect. This was one of, if not your second best (behind Honesty), performances this competition.

Goldie

Ok, Zak is going to kill me for this... but I really don't get this performance at all. I don't think this song is very well suited to you at all, if I am being one hundred percent honest. It got a bit better around the chorus, but I still am a bit confused by this choice. I love you, and you know that, but really, this was a weak song from you if I'm being honest. Sorry, Goldie!

Well, there we have it Stacey. Two absolutely incredible performances in a row. There's nothing much else to say, it was 'funky' and the vocals were great. I've really enjoyed both performances tonight Stacey, your mentor has put you on the absolute right track for you to win, & I have a feeling that's the outcome we're going to get.

Goldie.

Hey Nicole. So, I thought your first performance was good and I quite enjoyed this performance. However, after using Heather for Alexandra, I cannot help but think Heather isn't strong enough vocally for you, Nicole, and I would have loved to see you take on something extremely powerful. I think you should be fine tonight though Nicole, so well done.

Goldie.

Nicole

This song was better, and it sounded great on your voice. I hate to say it, though, but I think you are just substantially less dynamic than the rest of the competition at this point. This song was just kinda drab and boring, and while I am sure that Nicole's core fanbase will love this, I'm just not the hugest fan. You hit some AMAZING notes in there, though, so I won't be surprised at all if you survive. I just want something a bit more edgy and a bit different from you next show.

Goldie

NOW THERE'S THE GOLDIE I LOVE! This was freaking awesome, Goldie. You were great. I can't add much else, but way to redeem yourself after performance number one.

I loved that first performance and have been holding onto it for you since the beginning of the competition. Alex Clare was equally as amazing, and while it wasn't exactly the song I wanted for you (DAMN SETH FOR TAKING APRIL), I am proud with how this went. I think you rocked it out tonight, Joe, and I love mentoring you. Well done!

Joe Coxx2.
Hey Joe, I thought the first song was a really good fit for your voice. It also managed to find the medium between dull and the polar opposite of "too exciting" for Joe. So yes, it was a really good choice. The second song was a really inspired choice, I'm not entirely sure it worked as well as your mentor would have hoped, but I can understand why it was picked. Well done, Joe!

Goldie:

Well this was certainly an interesting performance Goldie, obviously the oriental sounding backing was the reason why Zak chose it but honestly, the vocals were completely unsuitable for you, you're not an urban pop singer and I don't think that this was a great choice for you? It was certainly one of my least favourite performances by you in the show so far unfortunately. The second song was slightly better Goldie but it wasn't one of your best performances either, it did fit your voice sort of but it certainly wasn't up to the same standard as most of your previous performances. Not a fantastic night for you I'm afraid Goldie

Stacey Soloman:

Hey Stacey, well that was a fantastic first performance, it may have taken a while for the vocals to kick in on the track but when they did, I thought that you really came into your own, it was a really clever fit for your vocals and I can certainly envisage you doing a very good job with this performance, it was lovely, I think it was one of your best for quite some time. The second song wasn't just as entertaining or interesting as the first song, it was a little too slow for my liking but it was vocally, your best performance in this competition, you really delivered on a vocal level and I was blown away by the quality and tone you delivered the song with, great performances tonight Stacey, I'm sure you'll be back next week.

Joe Cox:

Hi Joe, I wasn't sure about this first song, it was okay but I thought that it was a little bit too fast for you? I appreciate that your mentor has to try and give you a variety of styles and songs but it wasn't my favourite performance of yours, I felt like it lacked the distinctive tone that we're used to hearing in your performances so as a result, I don't think that it was a brilliant fit for your voice, it was okay but it's not a standout by any means. The second song had a lot more in the way of tone for you and I thought that it was one of your best performances in the competition, it was a great song choice and I think that your quite quirky tone is actually surprisingly similar to that of Alex Clare's, it was really good, well done, I'm impressed!

Gamu Nhengu:

Gamu, this was a nice performance, it wasn't your best, I do think that Nabiha's vocals are a little bit edgier than yours but it was still a really nice performance, really enjoyed it Gamu, congratulations! The second song was nice also but the problem is with the cover itself, there is literally no emotion in the performance whereas you yourself are quite an emotive performer so I did find it hard to connect those two things together, I think hearing this performance of the song just plants doubts in my head about whether the cover itself was completely suitable for you? Nevertheless, it was a good performance so well done.

Nicole Lawrence:

I loved both performances Nicole, I thought that you delivered them with soul, power and emotion but obviously my fellow judges disagree, all I'll say is that I think that they suited you perfectly, both of them and I do think that you suffer from divas being generally less favoured on these sorts of games so may once again fall into the bottom two but if you do, you're sure to absolutely fight for your live in that sing-off.

The Dolly Rockers:

I'd agree with Zak that the first song was a little bit strange, I didn't enjoy it girls, I found the vocals a little bit strange and I wasn't entirely convinced that it was the best song choice for you girls, it was okay but it was pretty forgettable and definitely a step down after a decent comeback last week. The second song was okay but I still didn't love it girls, I thought that it was a solid performance but I just wasn't sure if this was your best night girls. Good luck though!

SORRY my comments will have to be short as im on my phone

Gamu - NO not Gamwho but GamHERE! That nabiha choice fittes you perfectly vocally, and i actually think it was more cute than edgy? The whole music video is super colourful and is set in the girls bedroom! I loooooved that Crazy cover, immmensee! And idk what Kev is talking about re lacking emotion, Angela is such an emotive singer!

Stacey - I Never is one of my fave Rilo songs and it gave you vocals babeh! Also that wedding was cute! And Gold Motel took you back down that retro route! WOO

Joe - First choice was intense and indie like how Joe has previously performed, great song choice! OMG I LOVED that second choice!!

Goldie - Agree with Justin a bit re the first choice, like i can see why it was picked, but the 2nd choice is more in line with that Goldie is about cause of the cultural dimension of that song, i want latin pop Goldie!

Nicole - the first song suited Nicole vocally than the 2nd, i think i preferred the second as a song though! Nicole was okay tonight but i know Kev has more to give with her.

Dollies - This was their bet week by FAR and it has a lot to do with the unrestrictive theme i imagine, Two FANTASTIC choices, the second in particular is probably one of their best performances!
