I hope we see Trudie Goodwin back in the dales soon, she hasn't been on screen in ages!!!!!! Hope she's back soon!!! I like the character of Georgia and there could be a serious character development there.....

She's in Doctors tomorrow I think.

When it was first announced Trudie was joining Emmerdale she said she didn't want to commit to anything long term after doing The Bill for so long as she enjoyed doing other things.

I believe she'll be making casual appearances. I love the character - so when she does make her cameos now and again - I hope they use her well!

She can't act in emmerdale. So I hope she doesn't return!

I don't she's awful. Its what comes of playing one character for years then having to do other work.

She's terrible at acting in Emmerdale.. But was brilliant in The Bill

I've been really disappointed by her performance in Emmerdale. Maybe there is some element of adjusting after playing one well known character for such a long time. I know she's portraying a shrill character but I don't think she's quite got a handle on it yet. Perhaps given more time it'll come together. Georgia could be a gift for an actress to play as it has real comic potential but could also be played for drama. Georgia's pretty ridiculous but has also been, in some respects a lousy Mum, particularly to her youngest son. Her obsession with enforcing rules having undoubtedly contributed to his neurosis. At the moment, I think Trudie Goodwin seems uncomfortable in the role and the performance seems very forced. Although I think it was improved on her recent second appearance.
