Phil and Sharon were on very good terms when she left in 2006 (he even went with her to America to help her settle in). Obviously they would keep in touch, they're close friends. He would have given her his new address.

It's perfectly plausible that Ian mentioned in passing that Phil was now living in his old house.

Actually I think this is the most likely situation. I doubt Sharon and Phil haven't spoken at all in 6 years, she would probably have his address.

Maybe she went to the Arches,found it locked up and asked Winston where Phil lives.Or maybe she bumped into Tracy crossing the road.

Probably asked somebody because when Sharon left EE, Ian was living in that house.

Maybe she will say how in the 9pm episode.
