I think this latest storyline has ruined his character once and for all. Tracey was actually in the right for once.

Steve is one of the Corrie characters who should NEVER BE ALLOWED to be in a relationship. Carla is the other one.

Utterly gormless now and spineless; his brother Andy was far more astute and more intelligent.

Steve being stuck between two women is his default storyline that happens everytime they run out of ideas for him. We've had Tracy vs Karen, Michelle vs Becky, Tracy vs Becky and now Tracy vs Michelle. All fighting over the brilliant catch that is Steve McDonald.

Wasn't Steve a bit of villain back in the 90s and did a stint behind bars?

I hate the annoying, wooden character...
Wish they would just kill him off :/ |

He is. However, this would've been much better if he PLANNED to lead Tracy on as revenge for the absolute mess she's put him through over the years. I feel no remorse for Tracy at all in this storyline, and had Steve been devious in this situation, I'd have cheered him on.

They've turned Steve into a village idiot type figure. He shouldn't be allowed out on his own, if he was any more dense he would be Mr Bean, fed up of the same old scenarios with him now and the actor needs to quit with that gurning. He needs to find his backbone he used to have one!

I like Tracy and Michelle although Tracy just edges it. Amy did Steve a favour telling Deirdre

I thought his scenes were hilarious last night, Amy's little face, so angry and Deirdre finding out and then waiting behind the hospital door, giving him a chance to come clean to Tracy, but then snapping and bursting in, shouting about the kissing. Simon Gregson is hilarious and I for one love watching him

I love Steve and always end up feeling so sorry for him. He didn't do anything wrong, he politely told Tracey that he will always love her for giving him Amy - he didn't say he was in love with her, or offer her any sort of commitment whatsoever. Tracey is the one who has blown it all out of proportion as usual.
He should have corrected her immediately when he realised she had read too much into it, but she had made that nigh on impossible by telling her parent s and Amy that they were going to be a family. Poor Steve but he's at his funniest when he's in a mess
