Just wondering if any of the soaps (apart from Hollyoaks, who I already know ARE mentioning it) will include a nod to the massive events that 1 in 3 18 year olds, including myself, will go through on Thursday, there are teens in all three of the big soaps so it would be rather fitting to remain in touch with reality and show something!
Which characters can you think of who are actually going to get their A Level results on Thursday?

Eastenders might mention it briefly because they made a deal of Lucy not turning up to some of her exams because of the Ian drama and how disappointed she was. I went through it last year so know how you're feeling. Best of luck!!

Most youngsters in EE don't go into higher education. I'm surprised Lucy managed to get as far as she did, no doubt she'll be working at the cafe/market instead of repeating the year.

I've never understood why its impossible to stay in Walford and do your AS/A-levels or commute to uni?

I doubt whether Corrie will, since the writers seem to hate the idea of education. I don't think any character since ken barlow has ever completed a university course.

The only teacher in the cast is a comedy figure (though he makes a welcome relief from the ones who constantly overact).
