BBC Three Closedown Screen
Just noticed that BBC Three is showing a black screen with "This service is temporarily unavailable" while BBC Four still shows that red screen with the channel numbers on. I wonder why BBC Three shows this screen now instead of the red one?

They haven't got round to restoring pre Olympic configuration in your region yet. There are over 20 BBC A regions to do.

I am amazed that they need to do it manually in 20 regions. I thought it would just be a case of swopping channel packet idents BBC3 for BBC Parliament.
BBC Parliament is back on at Winter Hill. BBC3 showing red screen with BBC channel list. |

I suspect this huge effort required was why they didn't pursue other solutions for the 301/302 saga during the Olympics ceremonies. Hopefully Channel Four will do better if they use Mux 2 for their interactive channel during the Paralympics. |

Via Emley Moor transmitter BBC Three is also showing this service is unavailable and 302 is still broadcasting the flying spots and the annoying beeping sound and BBC Parliament is still broadcasting.
