#BBAU - Big Brother Australia - Episode 2 now posted to: http://bbaustralia2012.blogspot.com/

I think this is better quality; hope Renny & the Doc do it every day.

This is our wheeze for those who fancy watching BB Australia "together" and discussing it in this thread; a sort of quasi-WHATM-ering.
We all press the Play button at midnight .......

You could invite people to join you for an earlier viewing too, if you go to bed at sensible o'clock and midnight is too late for you. Just suggest a time and see who turns up!

Think it's best we see how the midnight one goes first and if there's enough interest.

An an earlier watch would have to take place the next day to avoid spoilers for those taking part in the later one though.

Users who work early could always just add their comments the next day when they get round to watching them, they can view and reply the posts from the previous night if they want to see and comment on what the rest of us thought?

I'll ask the mods to sticky now, might have to prove there's interest first, as long as we're stickied before tomorrow's launch we should be OK for now, though BOTS is on tonight with the finalists.

I am getting a bit kerfuddled is this the episode that has the two new housemates one of which is a millionaire or is it the next one. I watched the first highlight show earlier today and wondered is this the one that will be watched at midnight. I cannot join you as I am up at 5.30 am for work.

Yep; Ep.2 was live, and two more males went in; one a millionaire. His identity is all over Twitter already! Last 2 go in during ep. 3.

very impressed with the production of BBAUS so far
Damn nametags annoying me though
Shame about the lack of live feed
but even a 24/7 livefeed addict like myself has seen the first 2 episodes
and atm i am looking forward to the next one

Love the house and the mix of housemates
great opening twist

well done to channel 9 with good ratings too so far

My friend in oz (originally english) said the bb over there is way too tame to be anywhere near exciting which is why it was axed.
Isn't it on at like dinner time ?!

7pm, though I think there's a late night version this time (can't remember if there was before).

This is the first time I've watched a version outside of the UK but after the first two episodes I'm already hooked on this

It's like a bigger scale BBUK, with a stricter diary room voice.

Not sure how the family friendly aspect of BB will go down
hope the production have plenty to keep all interested
a new approach that could do well or die very quickly

I don't really watch BB for knobs 'n' knockers anyway,I just like to see how things unfold

one thing i noticed is, the english girl would have got ''booed'' to the heavens after her audition tape on the UK version. the audience is the complete opposite of 'rent a mob' over there

Yep they like to promote an upbeat feeling to the show.

watched both episodes, BBUK could learn a few things from this.

It feels like a nicer show to watch, BBUK has become so tainted with trashiness and vulgarity whilst the Australian version feels so refreshingly nice, largely because of it's 7pm timeslot I admit but still it feels much nicer.

I wonder how people over her would react if BBUK was revamped to a more family friendly show?

Never watched any BB other than UK before but I might give this a go and not watch CBBUK this year.
