Hasn't he ever heard of deadlifts and protein shakes? His arms are like twigs. He needs to get on the weights and up his food intake, pronto.

He might be thin but I don't see what the problem is. He's not ill.

Yes, then he is sure to become as interesting and nuanced as steroid-monkey Joey and buffoon Tyler

It's the age, Jay will fill out in time. Ben still has his puppy fat.

There is nothing wrong with being skinny...

I am nearly 17 (i'm a boy) and I am very skinny, I had health problems at a young age though so I have an excuse.... but still plenty of people his age are skinny not all are stereotypical bulldogs that pull all the ladies

Why does he need to "get on the weights and up his food intake, pronto"? He's healthy so it's fine. He shouldn't have to live up to your expectations.

I have never in my life heard of a buff ginger.
Shallowness is an extremely undesirable trait.

He's young. My cousin is going through the same phrase, he's shot up to 5"10 in the last few months and he's like a twig. He'll fill out when he's older

Shallow for never having seen a buff ginger?

And shallow's alright when you're only after a paddle.

He's a boxer isn't he, so he'd have to stay slim and at a natural weight and not just bulk up with a bunch of random muscles like the op suggests.

I'd much prefer Jay to stay like he is rather than adopting the human Mr. Potato Head look that Ben seems to display...

Its not so much his size its his skin colour, he looks really pale all the time even for someone with ginger hair. He also seems to have sunken in eyes. Personally though I think he looks natural and not the typical soap teen.

"EE: Jay...why is he so skinny?"

Why is Abi so fat? And why is it ok to slate someone for being skinny yet if you talk about obesity in such a way there is a barrage of people labelling it discrimination and all that bull
