Hi guys, been busy with work but watched the return of Sharon - couldn't believe Jean and that belt she was wearing. Then the Little Lord as a bizarre casting. Good to see you both x

There is scientific research showing that young children with constant obstacles in front of their eyes (Denny's hair) causes long term eyesight problems. So Sharon isn't doing him any favours trying to save on the barbers costs

My daughter of that age has longer hair then Denny. Can you post a link to scientific evidence about hair length and children of that age. At the school gates nearly at least the girls have hair longer than that so we must all be bad for our childrens eyes. I had longer hair then he did at that age and have perfect vision but I might be the odd one out. Did anyone on here as I am sure it would apply to males or females find having hair longer than the shoulder length messed up their eyesight? As he can clearly see fine at the moment and its not in his eyes it had fallen out of the parting. Which has done in the past and my daughters but I need to know if I am doing some real damage.

I wasn't trying to worry you about anything. I think it applies to young children (below 7yrs old) when they have very long fringe and their eyes have to work extra hard to focus past them. So nothing to do with long heair per se, but rather very long fringe. If you google eye sight damage and long fringe, you'll see quite a lot of relevant entries.

Or you can just ignore my previous post, I'm sure it's not all that bad
