Hi,

I know there are updates for it, such as Vegacomb, but how do you install it?

I've read loads of websites but do not understand, they don't include the first steps.

Wondered if someone could help?

Thanks!

presume you've also looked at the Tabletroms page:

http://www.tabletroms.com/forums/veg...ion-guide.html

As a newbie to the whole business I took a while to plunge but once you get the various downloads onto your PC and very carefully follow the detailed instructions it actually becomes clearer and is more or less a doddle.

The first bit ( getting your PC to recognise the Vega) takes a bit of mental effort ( spot of googling helped) but once you've gone past that, updating with whatever you choose is fast and easy though the first one is a bit nerve wracking.
I understand its not possible to brick but no guarantees!

There are glitches with all the earlier mods ( freezes, force closes, etc) but if you just want to enhance and turn a dull piece of kit into something beautiful then have a look at HoneyIceChimeraupdate or the current favourite ( still being worked at ) VegaBean-Beta1 which I'm running and is fine for my use.

Reading the relevant forum threads takes time but is enjoyable as you'll much appreciate the work that goes into these modded versions and if you have issues someone else has pretty well already dealt with it. Plus you'll need info for the Adobe flash situation as 15th Aug has gone by.
Then you'll also want to put donations to the mods!!

Hope this helps you get something onto the Vega.
