Melanie Sykes is engaged to her toyboy

Any bets on how long this'll last?

He hasn't got a good record though. I doubt it'll get to the altar.

Or past Christmas.

Wasn't he after or went out with a reality star?

mel has always seemed quite nice and down to earth so i would certainly wish her well, but whenever I see anything about this relationship I just can't escape the fact that her partner, now fiancee, tweeted half a dozen female celebrities (or however many) including her in one session and she was the one that "bit".

i accept that relationships can start in unusual circumstances, but her fiancee just really sounds like a chancer who probably can't believe his luck.

Well I'm sure she thinks she knows what she's doing.

I think that sums him up pretty well.

She just sounds like a woman worried about losing her youth who'll latch on to anyone who pays her attention for more than 5 minutes.

I think he just wants to be famous cos he tried asking other celebs out and failed but Mel accepted.

There'll be a magazine wedding obviously, helps to raise his profile.

The sex tweets again raises his profile (and hers, which was flagging)

Getting married?

From her tweets I thought he had taken her up the aisle a while ago!

Have you seen her?

She'd still be able to pull most 20 something guys probably even into her 50s.

All very well, but you'd have to question the motives of those guys. Are they after a committed relationship? Clearly Mel is, and with young children she should be setting her standards a bit higher than simply someone who is good in bed. A good, solid relationship is about much more than sex, especially when one (or both) of the partners has children.

I think it is a joke, and if it weren't for concern for their children I reckon her ex husband would be creased up with laughter at this. Everything is "giddy" with Mel even her knickers allegedly

Everybody's seen her, and seen just about everything she's got. Her kids are going to be SO proud.

I think she's starting to look a bit ropey now TBH.

Perhaps her knickers shouldn't be so 'giddy'

I get the feeling her last marriage was one where maybe she wasn't allowed to be herself (whoever that is) so she's over-compensating for it now. Good luck to her- she's gonna need it.

Well, good luck to her - but as if it's going to last!!

This bloke seems to be a bit of a fame wannabe, an Only Way is Essex type.

'Giddy' is certainly one word to describe it. 'Deluded' might possibly be another!!

Cole/Tweedy first, Marsh second, Sykes third.
Third time lucky I guess.

Wonder how Mel feels knowing that she's his third choice after
Tweedy and especially Marsh?

Unfortunately cameras weren't invented then, so I can't oblige.
