My son is there now (set off at 3.30 this morning!) so I've texted him to say Sean Lock is appearing (his fave comedian). Thanks for the info.

The main stage looks great. Haven't been to V since 2005. My festival days are over (except for old farts festies like High Voltage).

Stone Roses refuse to be on TV... think Ian is actually nervous. At the gig itself you sound great, on TV it's a completely different thing.

I think it has more to do with the impending DVD release. They refused to have their performance at T in the Park televised either.

We're going on Sunday and thanks for posting the line ups on Efestivals.

Madness, Human League, Snow Patrol and The Killers will be our highlights although we'll probably see The Enemy too as we're with 2 fans. Gutted we can't see Aussie Pink Floyd due to a clash but we saw them recently and yes they were as good as seeing the real Pink Floyd. It's gonna be hot too.P

Thanks, we go to V most years for a day trip(as we have kids). The line up this year has something for everyone which is what makes it so good. If you haven't been before be warned you'll hear lots of people shouting "Alan".

Nicki Minaj has apparently pulled out due to vocal issues - LMFAO will now headline the 4Music Stage instead, and DJ Fresh will play an additional set before them to fill the gap.

Did Nicki pull out because she didn't get her wig trailer?

Nicki being replaced by LMFAO isn't a big deal, I don't think most people are going to be able to tell the difference between Starships and Party Rock Anthem anyway. Even the breakdowns in Starships rip-off the ones from Party Rock Anthem.

I much prefer LMFAO, at least they're fun - not sure if they have the songs to pull off a headline slot though, most people will probably only know 2 songs! That said if I was going I'd be watching The Killers anyway.
