Sia writing songs for everyone!
I was listening to Ne-Yo's new song "let me love you" and then just saw on wikipedia that Sia co-wrote it! She's also wrote with/for Xtina, David Guetta, Flo Rida and has upcoming projects with Beyonce, Leona Lewis, Ke$ha and Rita Ora. She literally is just working with everybody now haha, I remember when barely anyone knew who she was, now everyone wants a piece of her

Good news,I recall they were trying to push her (I think she did an interview or session with Dermot O`Leary,Radio2) around the same time Gabrielle Cilmi (Aussie like Sia) was emerging, all those female singers after Amy/Duffy.

I love Sia's songwriting. She did a great job on Christina's 'Bionic' and I'm glad that her contribution to that album was good enough to introduce her to the mainstream
I hope she has some songs on Christina's next album, they make a great team

I'm glad she's getting to do everything she wants, I know she doesn't really like to be 'in the limelight' so she's getting to sing and make tracks with her vocals (For the likes of guetta etc) while still getting her own music out via other artists.
She's an incredible songwriter, so I can't blame everyone who wants to use her work!

She used to be cool. Then she sold out and started working with people like Flo Rida. Such a shame.

Well since people think she "sold out" then I would love a dance record. Her usual stuff with djs producing.

I think she's doing amazing with her songwriting and songs and is building one of the most respected figures in pop ATM, whenever I tweet Sia she always replies, she loves her fans as much as her fans love her tbf

I'm so happy to see Sia well...everywhere! She's such a beautiful songwriter and singer and is so talented so it's great to see her getting the long overdue success she deserves. I too discovered her through her contributions to Christina Aguilera's Bionic. I hope they duet on her next album/she does more duet's in general as her voice is gorgeous, just can't get enough of how incredible she is!

Er, I'd say Titanium/Wild Ones did that, not Christina's album. Anyway I've known about Sia for years, her own stuff is much much better than the stuff she is writing for people now.

im Sad that we probably wont get another album or tour from Sia for a long time, but happy she's still making music even if she is writing and singing for other people

yeah Christinas Bionic introduced me to her (and Ladytron and Le Tigre too actually from mentioned across 2009/10 etc) and must say her early stuff and solo stuff to 2010 has been brilliant, not got any of her albums yet but i do definitely love what she did with Madonnas Oh Father, one of my all time favourite songs (and videos actually) and Sia really brought her own angle to it...that whole album was inspired by music she heard in her teens and childhood wasnt it? must check more out.
And i definitely agree Bionic really helped garner her mainstream awareness! |

Sia was actually brought to my attention through her work on Bionic so I've followed her for a couple of years now. I'm a big fan so it's nice to see her talents being recognized

I love her as an artist...but she has said that she cant handle the limelight and wanted out of pop....her last album - we are born - was fantastic upbeat pop at its best. Her songs Breathe Me and Dont Bring Me Down were inspirational to many artists. Simialryl her work with Zero 7. Titanium with Guetta was a new lease of life for her. Commercial success. When she had given up. Quite a story and a lesson. I wish her the best in her continued songwriting, guest vocals and hopefully this will inspire a new solo album.
