Jehmene *SPOILER* of sorts - what you'll see tonight
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5rNnb...feature=relmfu - At Last
Here is what you'll hear tonight - I have to say that is absolutely one of the best vocals I've heard on anyone trying this song. |

I hate that song since Katie sang it two years ago. No one can impress me with any rendition of that song now. If he had chosen something more current it would proove he's not likely to go down the Marcus, Matt way.

That was fantastic throughout. I wouldn't be surprised if he reaches the semis.

Great vocal. This has been missing since Paije Richardson. Soulful.

He was amazing, but I don't think he should have gone on x factor as he is too good for it. I can already imagine his mentor giving him rubbish songs, a new image and ruining him

His vocal range is quite literally outstanding. He possesses a lot of soul and his voice is reminiscent of the jazz industry, not to mention that he is clearly too talented for this contrived show.

Run of the mill.
Rebecca Ferguson did it better and even she's mediocre. Will amount to absolutely nothing. One song wonder |

As for Jehmene, I liked him. Good strong vocal, but a few bad habits. I felt he tried to cram too many tricks, runs and other embellishments into the song where they didn't fit. Also I NEVER want to hear At Last sung at the auditions. It's beyond a joke how overdone that song is. It raises a bit of a red flag to be honest when a contestant sings it. It shows a lack of originality, limited musical knowledge and laziness. But I did find him endearing. He's quite awkward and shy but at the same time seemed really polite and sweet. The little laugh he had after every sentence and question gave it away. He has a good voice, but he's not ready for the live shows. And I think the production knows that too from the way he was edited. I think he will be a controversial cut at Judge's Houses. |

That song was so oversung it had me hiding behind my cushions . He undoubtedly has a good voice but that was way too much , if he can't hear himself at this stage then I fear for him .
