More likely to be a presentation by Ideal World on The Zone, if there is any truth in it at all.

Freeview really could do without the shopping channels tbh.

Under what rule are they allowed to use that LCN?

It's taking the place of 'Ideal and More' on Sky and Freesat, so it's a channel, but on Freeview it may merely be a programme replacing JML on The Zone, therefore no need for a licence or a new LCN.

Or The Zone is closing, and Deal gets that LCN due to associated channel status. However, DMOL shouldn't be allowing that, as if 39 gets vacated for a millisecond they need to allocate it to local TV in Wales and Scotland (this is what they said they would do)

I agree. (unless a "closer to 1" LCN is going to be vacated soon)

It's a nightly programme strand on The Zone, a bit like how Gems TV and TJC have teleshopping strands on other channels.

ITV uses The Zone for various teleshopping strands, it just depends on who they have the contract with at any point in time.
