i cant get my 7600 to appear in the nokia pc suite software, if i want to "transfer music", it wont let me because it cant find the phone.

installed the software for the serial wire, when i plug it in- windows detects and asks to install a driver for it.

You ain't the only one to have had this problem - I've seen loads about it on the Internet.

Good news, though - it isn't a problem at all! Even though there was absolutely no literature online or in the manuals about this, you have to install several parts of the driver in order for it to work (think there's about 6 or 7 bits in total). Your PC will keep on recognising a new device when you plug it in; keep installing *all* the various bits and then it should work fine.

Hope this works.

Had the same problem with my 7600 and the PC software... there are about 7 different bits of software. Seems to work fine now, quite a good peice of software when its finally installed!

This is why i came away from relying on PC Software and a data cable and have gone the bluetooth way. Bluetooth is amazing and transfers everything from my PC ,including outlook express sync, contacts, tasks, notes, etc. MP3 files, pics and video clips and it is so easy to do and much quicker than a data cable.

I am assuming that the Nokia 7600 does not have bluetooth.

My Nokia 6230 refuses to communicate with my PC via bluetooth. It finds and pairs but music will not transfer, and finds 'no supported devices' Can anyone help?
