The Power Of Editing Can Do Wonders. She was ok/did well during the auditions for the US version it was when the live shows came about where her weakness and how poor she really is came.

I never watched the US version. What did Nicole do to be so bad and why has she been hired here if she was sacked from the US version

I loved Nicole on US Xfactor, and love her on UK Xfactor.

Thankfully we didn't see very much of her this week. But it's incredibly uncomfortable having to watch such a woefully inept performance week after week on the live shows. The girl is just completely out of her depth whenever there's a television camera pointed at her.

Nicole is far more suited to being a pit stop WAG.

lol it's all a pantomime.
Editing can do wonders or can set you up to fail. On the US version she was a bit too emotional for the American audience. They have a certain resilience when it comes to competitions and tough choices, she obviously cares a bit too much. And Simon, after insisting she should be on the panel, did a Cheryl on her too. During the live shows he would always have digs at her for stupid things like contestant's clothes or stage set-up as he always does when he doesn't have anything bad to say about the singing (which is what the show is, or rather, was about). Because of her emotion she's more suited to this audience. Two years ago I found her hilarious and, although a temporary judge, an active one (she was responsible for putting 1D together if I remember correctly and also came up with other ideas). She is coming across as quite hilarious this year as well. I doubt last year she suddenly lost her mojo, so maybe she didn't appear as hilarious in the US because of editing...? And, it is certainly improving her relationship doing the UK show than the US one. |

Gary Barlow can sing, doesn't make him a good judge. |

I really like the new panel so far although I have a changeable mind when it comes to the judges in the live shows.

Nowhere near as good as Nicole. And it does give them credibility no matter how good or bad they actually are. I'd rather have a 'no you can't sing' from Nicole than someone like Cheryl.
LOL

Please. She's capable of singing, and manages to do so without being overtly offensive. But she has a very ordinary and generic pop voice - nothing at all special. |

I didn't have a problem with her on the US version, and like her so far on this.
Interestingly, my mum, who doesn't read anything about the show online so has no idea that a lot of people don't like Nicole, randomly said tonight "I can't warm to Tulisa. I far prefer Nicole, I really like her" |

Well, you can only edit what she actually says? I personally found her funny and incredibly likeable, but of course if someone you don't like has a positive review it's ALL due to editing.
