It was obvious that they [the producers/backstage crew] asked or persuaded her to sing a P!nk song.. I felt quite sorry for her. This show is getting too trashy and hiding behind storylines and drama and not even bothering to hide it from the audience like it did in the former series. That contestants outrage was like something out of Rock of Love or the Bad Girls Club.

I canalmost guarantee the producers at either the first or second round of auditions told her to sing a P!nk son. Having said that, she's definitely done herself no favours with that reaction,e ven if they did tell her to sing it. Maybe if she had kicked off (though not to the extent!) to be allowed to sing a second song but the fact is, she had already sung a second song and she was terrible!

I went to the Liverpool auditions and everyone sang 2 songs. Infact one woman sang the same some 3 times from the flashbacks I keep getting it was a Tina Turner song

Either way she could not sing, wish she had been in front of me, she would not have taken that.

The show gets trashier and more fake with each passing year. It's like watching a pantomime. Some of the 'freaks' are obviously plants, and I'm sure the producers try to get a rise out of whoever they can.

If this Pink girl was legit, she's let herself down big time. She needed to go in with her own plan and stick to it no matter what. Instead she let the producers play her like a fiddle in the hope she'd lose it, and sadly she fell for it hook, line, and sinker. She's not smart enough for show business if she can be so easily manipulated...

One man in Newcastle sang 'Don't Stop Believing' about 5 times!

If she had said calmly that the producers told her to sing a Pink song, then I'm sure it would have all went down a little differently. But no, sadly not.

Yeah, we probably wouldn't have seen her at all.

it was soooooo obvious that's what the producers arranged - like everyone on here has said - it's obvious to all, and i cannot believe they think us - the viewing public - actually believe this crap...

you can see it now, the producers were making a story out of several people who were in there as 'impersonators' (Prince, Tulisa etc) - and so they wanted to make a montage with the theme - and this one backfired - when they asked her why she did a Pink song, you could see her looking confused and not knowing what to say or do...

outrageous pantomime yes. but these tossers behind the scenes get worse every year. i know a few people who have entered x-factor, and the way they are treated is absolutely scandalous - it's downright disrespectful and is disgusting to say the least. A lot of people don't even make it through to sing cos you're treated like cattle / and or shit for hours on end until they discover their self-respect, and walk out...

but as long as it makes good TV eh? these are only real people with dreams after all...

even if she had been told to sing Pink by the producers, she was still awful and behaved like a child having a strop.

oh it was blatently obvious that she was pushed to sing a pink song by producers, and that they then tried to cover it up by tulisa saying "did you hear any one of us four say that? did you hear it from our mouths?" disgraceful, yes. but do i feel sorry for her? NOOO, not a cat in hell's chance!!! she completely went off on one and acted like a complete and utter trashy little tramp. there was no call for her behaviour. she gets no sympathy.

Er, did you read the post properly?

The OP said the producers most likely persuaded her to backstage.

Hahahaha!!

I didn't like her, TBH. Whether or not they told her to sing that song, she messed up and her attitude stinks. The fact that her father condones such behaviour isn't a good sign either. Bringing her back on-stage - WTF?!

She was absolutely crazy. Could tell from the moment she got on stage that she had an attitude problem. Hate to think what would've happened if Mel B had been judging while she performed...
