Judging from her recent tweets, I think she's back in the UK. She did some recording in LA but I'm not sure how much.

Any news on anything being released?

She is currently writing with Mark Owen, I think Syco are holding off her album release until X Factor live show time.

It's a shame this thread couldn't have been more active - at least like Union J's, which has been active ever since X Factor finished, before we knew of any music they were going to release.

Hopefully some more news comes out soon as X Factor season is well on it's way. Ella will most likely be appearing on Xtra Factor One Year On sometimes at the end right before the new season trailer the contestants speak of their upcoming projects.

I think she may be on the main show aswell. she is signed with Syco... and with her single and album being released around that time i think they (Syco) would be silly not to captalise on that!

Hope we get some info on a Single soon... Pretty much everyone from the show last year has either music coming out or released stuff..James has annouced his single (i think) Chris has his single coming out in September, District 3 have an EP coming out in August and Jahmene, Lucy, Union J have all released material... Ella it seems... likes to keep everyone waiting... Just hope its worth waiting for

Not long to go now it seems - I hope Syco/Sony manage her properly, as she has a vocal talent that shan't go to waste.

I think it would make sense for them to release it around the time of the X Factor live shows.

The album will definitely be released in time for the live shows.

Its probably the best time to release it in terms of TV exposure..with shows like ChattyMan, Graham Norton, Jonathan Ross all coming back around that time.. hopefully she gets a spot on one of those & it raises her profile a little!

Just noticed that she is with Crown Management now... same team as Jessie J & Union J!

And She's back in the UK tomorrow. So looks like the trip was just for the Album Artwork! Unless she secretly shot her music video aswell?? Actually.. i do wonder if she's even chosen her first single yet?

Yeah, i think we will be hearing news in the next few weeks regarding the single! Still surprised nothing has surfaced on album dates... Lucy, James and Union J albums are all listed on Amazon but still nothing on Ella....
