Haven't posted on DS for a very long time but having caught up with Jahmenes journey so far I just had to comment.
My fave XF contestant ever! His range, power, control and delivery is stunning. He may not win and I don't care if he does or not, but whatever happens this boy is going to do very well for himself indeed. Roll on next week. |

I wonder how he will cope with the theme next week, Club Classics.

is it a "club classic"?
I Luv U Baby plankenheimer, do you know who some of Jahmene's favourite artists are, outside of Whitney, (and maybe Stevie Wonder I'm guessing)? |

He's so cute when he's on xtra factor/spoken to on the main show haha! He has a nervous laugh I believe. Hope he does really well after the show, whether he wins of not isn't of importance. Most probably my favourite contestant still left.

He has said that his performance will be inspired by Whitney. Now this is interesting!
![]() We saw him last week doing an uptempo number which shows he can manage it, whether he can dance is a different thing! |

Yeah, very sad stuff. I loved the song choice tonight. I even suggested a Burt Bacharach song in this thread . It's music made for a singer like Jahmene. I agree with some of the stuff about his runs though. This came to mind, from the original performer of another song: Quote:
What kind of advice, if any, did Burt Bacharach give you on singing the song? edit: actually I'm watching it back again now and I take that back. Other than the one that messed up the start of the chorus it was amazing.
To sing the notes. Sometimes people will take liberties with the melody and Burt was very determined to have the exact notes that he had written sung. |

Maybe it was different from Gary's angle, but from what the cameras showed he really didn't look "clumsy" either. Maybe a bit last week, but he looked at home out there this time.

He is as safe as houses for next week.
I read that he performed at an event at midnight. |
