Downloaded the trial because i liked the equalizer, pre-amp and other bits only to find its killing my ram majorly. I rarely use more than 550MB and with this running I was pushing 750MB. Even crashed when I had a couple other programs running. Whats wrong because it worked just fine on my old HTC Desire and i'm using a Samsung Galaxy S2 now

Can't say I have any problems with it. I've got a Galaxy S3.

just strange it uses more ram than it did on an older phone. Later on after writing the original post i found the phone running hot and somehow the program was running. i'd closed the program and recovered the ram yet it started back up again. Same again taking silly amounts of ram and it wasnt even playing music

I downloaded this yesterday on my S3 - works fine for me, actually i bloody love this app, very slick. If you install the widget on your home screen and use this to play your music, you may find this will use a lot less RAM, however i haven't noticed any increase when I use the main player - uses about 16MB RAM and about 4% CPU.

I purchased it about 3 years ago and used it up until I got my S3, I prefer the S3 music player (with voice control) so I started using that instead. But never had a problem with Poweramp its the perfect music app!

I dunno whats wrong then cuz this is a killer. Almost as bad as trying to run the desktop version of facebook and then launching a flash based game confused.com
