Bt/youview Pricing Plans
Hi
Has anyone heard when BT will be announcing their pricing plans for BT VISION/YOUVIEW? They seem to be very slow off the mark . I filled in the online form around 3 weeks ago to register my interest but heard nothing. I understand TalkTalk have already given their pricing details. Keep waiting patiently Carl. |

Although I'm not BT's greatest fan, I really expected them to be quicker off the mark than this. I know some people will say it's better they take their time and get it right, and I agree, but it's not as though they haven't had a lot of time to prepare their offering, is it?
I'm not so much criticising BT here, I'm more fascinated to know what it is that they're going to announce, and their reason for waiting. My only guess (and it's a long shot) is that they feel that increased network traffic during the Olympics might jeopardise YouView performance. Unlikely to be true, but worrying if it is. |

More like they are also preparing their way too long awaited HD box, the Software (Vision 2.0) is being tested by a lot of people bugs are (slowly) getting sorted and when they finally add the Youview content to it it will be very good, what they offer regarding Sky etc will be very interesting as BT hold one hell of a trump card aka Premiership Next Season (and not the mediocre package ESPN holds)

Anyone who is interested in what TalkTalk TV's YouView pricing structure is can see on their website.
TalkTalk TV seem to have most of the well known channel you'd see on Sky. No HD content which is a shame though, if BT Vision YouView can provide this, they might be on to a winner. |
