with the amount of radio play its getting I think it'll get into the top 10

I'm a big fan of Amelia but I'm not sure what Xenomania were thinking delaying the single to September 9th she is now releasing the same week as Tulisa don't think that was a good idea.

not 3rd? anyway I think it'll definitely break into top 20, or maybe even top 10, but I doubt it'll go any further than that.

I think it'll end up somewhere between about #8 and #15, but it's a good song & deserves to do better.

About 13/14 maybe.

On that note, is Christina Aguilera planning a comeback soon? Amelia reminds me a lot of her and if they 'debut' on the scene together at the same-ish time it might not be great for Amelia.

Assuming of course Christina's material is better. haha

The release date has been changed to the 9th of September, that gives her plenty of time to rise in airplay. Capital has playlisted the track and there's no doubt that they'll be giving it spins hourly.

I don't think it's a very good song, unfortunately. It's more the sort of thing I'd expect for a third or fourth single / album track. A little effort on the melody and some variation to the inflection at the end of each line would've made a big improvement. But nothing was ever going to save that turkey of a chorus. Amelia was one of my favourites last year, but Misha's debut was far better than this. I'd like her to do well, but this track doesn't deserve more than scraping the lower end of the top 20.

erm i have not heard it at all on the radio yet so it can't be getting that much airplay. anyone know if radio 1 have it listed to play yet?


its a good song but i cant see it charting higher than top 20 im afraid.

It's not on the current lists: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/playlist/ I'm sure I've heard Scott Mills playing it, though.
