I finally managed to fly over the Emmerdale set on Monday and take some aerial photographs.

There is just one shot there so far, I'm collecting some more from the lab today. I took loads.

A couple of weeks ago I also did Aidesfield aka Gothland.

Again I have lots more to add later.

I think many of you have already seen coronation st but here is the link again;

Have a nice day all,

Excellent!

Looking at the Corrie photos I didnt realise the medical centre was so big.
And looking at Emmerdale how could could such a peaceful little village have so many disasters! Its no wonder they built a graveyard as part of the set!

Are you allowed to fly over the sets whilst they're filming?

Well there is no law to stop you but if something big and important is being filmed then there is usually a notice to airmen issued requesting you remain clear of the site. There was no notam in effect on that day so I guess I didn't anoy anyone too much

have a nice day,

Will you be doing Walford/EastEnders? Wouldnt mind seeing a few snaps of that - they are not filming from around Dec 22nd - Jan 4th so it should be free to fly over

Yeah that Corrie one is great, I didn't know it was so populated around there.

As i have only been watching Emmerdale for a few months now, would it be possible for there to be a second version of that Emmerdale map with labels on showing where everything is? It gets quite confusing with people using both front and back doors and there being quite a few houses!

I still can't figure out the layout of the Woolpack as there seems to be 2 doors at different parts leading into the bar!
