Cher Lloyd - V Festival Incident

Supposedly Cher Lloyd has been bottled and booed off stage at today's v festival walking off crying in the middle of a song, on twitter some people are saying it was bottled of urine

That's a horrible thing to do.

Can't stand her though and the crowd were perfectly entitled to boo her.
If she can't stand the heat, she should get out of the kitchen.

lol I remember when I was a kid Kerrang! mag asking the bands before festivals 'what happens if you get bottles of piss chucked at you?' I remember thinking then that the ones who said they'd leave- usually American it must be said- really had their heads up their arses.

I can't stand her the crowd had every right to boo but to physically throw objects at someone is out of order tbh

They were on before Slipknot IIRC which was odd timing.

What do you expect when you're on the same bill as the Happy Mondays? It's only going to go one way.

I never understand why organisers do this, the mondays should've been on same stage as the Stone Roses and NGHFB.

Should count herself lucky it was only one, 50 cent had it horrendous at Reading in 2004

Why is that? Do chavs go round throwing bottles of piss at each other or something?

It's disgusting to do that to people. I even think it's not nice to boo the acts, you may not like them but who does like every single act performing at a festival. It doesn't mean you have to boo them. And especially throwing a bottle at someone, absolutely disgusting behaviour.

What on earth is she doing sharing a stage with legends like Beverly Knight, Human League and the Happy Mondays anyway?

This incident was natural justice for Swagger Jagger.

Of course the lowlifes can afford the £190.50 weekend ticket for V? I think it was middle class people throwing the bottles of piss. They're all *****.

Nothing to do with class, thats pretty cheap for weekend ticket to a major festival, she's just not appealing to anyone outside of the X Factor fan base.

I think at a festival if you don't want to see someone, it's more than easy to avoid them. There really was no need, it's kind of sad really.

Well, yes it was a joke.

Good news for V as it's presumably in the contract that they don't have to pay her if she leaves early.

I giggled when I read about her being hit with a bottle of piss, but now I feel horrible. I didn't know she was booed and crying.

Of course not. Not all chavs are piss-throwers, but throwing piss most certainly makes you a chav.

Not big, not clever, and an unpleasant aspect of the British festival scene that is rarely encountered elsewhere.

We truly are an island of scumbags, from the very top of society (thieving bankers, corrupt politicians etc.) to the bottom, as is amply demonstrated whenever we leave this septic isle to trash some misbegotten Mediterranean holiday resort - the French must rue agreeing to the tunnel every day of their lives.

Throwing bottles is out of order and pretty dangerous. I don't get the need. If you don't like her or her music, there are plenty of other stages at the festival, they could have just gone and see someone else.

I'm not a big fan of Cher but she turned up when artists like Nicky Minaj didn't....it's wrong that people feel the need to resort to doing lowlife things like that. There's plenty of other stuff there to see so those people in my estimation are scum really....
