No fan of hers and if she was booed off then that's fine.. But throwing anything at her is out of order.

I still don't see the point in booing... i've been to festivals where i'm waiting to see a band and when there's a crap act on, I usually just wander off and come back later.

We truly are an island of scumbags, from the very top of society (thieving bankers, corrupt politicians etc.) to the bottom, as is amply demonstrated whenever we leave this septic isle to trash some misbegotten Mediterranean holiday resort - the French must rue agreeing to the tunnel every day of their lives.
Chav as a stereotype represents the underclass, council estates etc.

It has absolutely nothing to do with throwing bottles of piss. That just makes you disgusting.

I'd have to question the mentality of anyone who thinks this is alright.

Someone commented with the ''if you can't stand the heat then get out of the kitchen'' line! Seriously? Should we expect anyone to put up with that? It's disgusting.

Sang to us on X Factor.

No seriously, that was bang out of order, throwing a bottle of urine at her on stage.

It is illegal indeed. It's battery, and it could be ABH if she was hurt too. Also it could be assault depending on the circumstances, which It probably was (fear of immediate violence). It's disgusting.

It wouldn't happen in the US because they actually listen to this sort of shite... at least we have our priorities right (in some way)

We don't have anything about us, UK festivals are a disgrace. This should not have been allowed. They should of chucked the scumbag who did it out.

wrong. it wouldnt happen in the US because we like to maintain some level of respect and throwing piss at someone is way passed that line. i dislike her music as well, but throwing piss at someone is vile.

im just saying it isnt likely to happen here and if it does that person would be in jail on much more than simple battery charges. the DAs here can be ruthless.

Not a fan of Cher at all, I find her quite unpleasant, but that is an absolutely disgusting thing to do to someone. If you don't like, don't go watch.

Didn't Justin Bieber get a bottle thrown at him on stage in the US?
