Third party websites
I'm looking to get a new phone because my old one is broken. Previously I have been on a rolling 30 day sim only contract for about 4 years now with orange with a crappy phone. I've realised that I'm pouring money into a crappy phone (I'm talking slide upwards, no internet phone) and need to update.
I'd like to stay on orange because the signal here is good, I use the orange Wednesdays but most importantly I want to keep my number. I've been looking around and it seems the Samsung Galaxy S3 is the phone to have at the minute. Initially because I'm a student I didn't want to spend more than about 20/25 a month. I've seen some seriously good deals for the Samsung phone on buymobiles.net and bargainmobiledeals but was wondering how legit are these kind of websites? has anyone contracted with a phone with them before? What does it mean when you buy from them in terms of if you need the phone repaired etc? do they just deal with selling the phone at that is it? I'm pretty clueless tbh. Also is it possible for me to switch to T Mobile and keep my orange number as I know they are partnered with signal. |

Hit and miss, when you get them from 3rd partys you have all your handset provided from them so Orange etc cannot replace etc and also any contract queries are via the 3rd party (incorrect minutes...)
Second, you can port your number out to other companies by asking for a PAC code when cancelling, Orange and Tmobile are the same network so your signal wont change either
