Good to hear it's coming back. It may not be the best, but it had its moments, and it certainly will be a darn sight better than that crap they're advertising at the moment - Father Figure I think its called.

What else would it be?

If it was repeats they wouldn't be advertising it.

The only problem is that the show will probably still have the idiot son-in-law to be

Yes, a little too over the top for my liking. I do like Dave though. Dave and Khan make the show

I do enjoy Citizen Khan, really looking forward to the second series.

There's a lot of my brothers indian born in law's in Mr Khan and his wife (though they are Hindu's and not muslim's) right down to the disgusting throat clearing noise.

"I'm going to kill myself, and then him!"

One of the funniest lines of the series.

The exterior of the mosque was filmed at Saffron Centre for the first series - I've passed that building a number of times in the past few weeks. If only I got my timing right to see them filming.

Dave is great and thankfully I'm able to move past the fact that he's played by the guy from My Family and those BT ads

He's got a terrible 'Brummie' accent. Its right up there with Dick Van Dyke's Cockney.

Thank God a funny BBC show!

After the Irish Frank Spencer and Big School, which was okay but not great may improve in series two if they do one, now we have something really funny.

It amazes me that the BBC have managed to get comedy right twice in the last couple of years Mrs Brown and Citizen Khan.

So many other shows where okay but not great these two, I think, tick all the right boxes!

Plus Dave AKA Nic AKA the BT ad. bloke.

Kris Marshall just keep popping up. I even forgot he was a dopey waiter/sandwich guy in Love Actually. And he was also in Death Watch for those who like World War One based horror amongst other things.

Very surprised this has a second series, the first was absolutely terrible.

Public money. The thing the BBC is best at is wasting it.
