How many people know a Basil Fawlty, Hycinth Bucket, Victor Meldrew?
Lots of people seemed to enjoy CGM despite not being Asian, but they got the humour in the characters.
I didn't watch too much of it, found it a bit cringey, but hey ho it's formulaic, that's not a reason in and of itself to ditch something.
Someone's going to like it, it's just not for you and probably not for me either.
Then again I rarely LOL in real life at anything, even programs I do find amusing.
