??? are pathologists allowed to act as Police and march into a Jail & interview an inmate?
Wouldnt his story re the shotgun have been checked out (pellets)? Another nutty women cop? How can you check the mileage of a car unless you had the keys? etc, etc, etc. |

They made heavy weather of Jack's vertigo so presumably that will become important later on.
Tbh I found it hard to follow what was going on and who was related to whom and how and when. |

The woman is Imogen and the daughter is their daughter, I think.

These ridiculous plots have more holes than our 40 year old collander has. Entertaining, in a sort of way, if you have nothing better to do on a winter's evening. The trouble is with series such as this and Lewis et.al, all the characters seem to meld in to one and the women, in particular look so much alike that I end up confused and seemingly, I am not the only one.

Well, for me this new series is far more entertaining than previous series.
Everyone has their own take on a programme I suppose but for me the format is much improved. I like the new characters and the stories so far are not as self indulgent as some episodes in the past. |

One could I suppose spend a lot of time analysing the detail silliness of this show. Easier though to just say it's a right load of rubbish.

Which is exactky what can no longer happen with SW. If they had got someone remotely like Tom Ward it might have worked. Apparently one of the writers said that the producers thought the show needed a 'shot of testosterone'... What on earth for?! |
