Keep an eye on their twitter, Facebook etc for announcements of extra tickets if you can't get them the first time round; that's what I did with my Kasabian tickets and I got them in the end. That was only one show too.
Good luck!”
I think you're missing the point somewhat here! I had no idea about this gig but after looking at the info it seems the pre-sale started today at 9.00am, the general sale started today at noon and the gig itself is in two days time, ie this Thursday! Daily basis? Half hourly basis more like! Or even a ten minute basis as the only way to get any extra tickets will be to grab those that get put back on sale because the transaction is declined and they could re-appear on sale at any time.
edit: there are tickets on ebay although the gigs and tours page says that in order to gain access the cardholder (and guest if applicable) must arrive at the venue together and produce the card that the ticket(s) was/were booked on and id, and they'll then be wristbanded at the box office, so I can't see how someone buying from a tout or ebay will be able to obtain a wristband.
further edit: Having looked at the ebay listings one seller says he has asked and been told that it does not have to be photographic id and that he is prepared to hand over the actual card he used (which he will then cancel) along with a utility bill with his name and address on. However another claims the following:
"I've called and checked with Shepherds Bush Empire today to confirm that I can write and sign a confirmation letter to the winning bidder with all the information on it (My card detail, ticket reference number, address, person's name who are going to pick up the tickets) to allow you to pick up the tickets. so you will have NO problem entering the venue.
I will meet you at the venue on the event date, and give the confirmation letter to you in person. Please remember to bring your photo ID (Passport, Driving license..etc) with you because the box office will check".
This second sellers instructions are clearly at odds with what the gigs and tours page says.
