I personally wouldn't have it.

TouchWiz (which means lag) and slow updates from Samsung.

The Verge and other tech blogs said the software is it's downfall as menus are jerky and it looks 'cartoony'. Also, I have no use for a Pen. There are a few positives though, it has a Quad-Core Exynos processor, but what good is high end hardware with an old OS. They might get Jelly Bean to it quick but anything other than that, it will take them forever (7 months for the Tab 10.1 to get ICS). The design also looks awful.

I've been looking at the Note 10.1, most reviews I've read/watched seem positive. The only negative most are coming up with is the 1280x800 resolution screen, but having lookied at quite a few Android tablets, most seem to be around that mark anyway. Only the iPad 3 seems to have a higher resolution screen.

I already have an iPad 3, but do fancy trying Android and the fact the Note has a pen is quite appealing, especially as I like to do photo editing.

Every video review I've seen on YouTube has demonstrated the pen and there seems to be no lag at all. Overall, it sounds like a great tablet.

I don't understand all this about an "old OS" anyway. Most Android devices still seem to be running Ice Cream Sandwich. Jelly Bean was only released in July anyway.

Which makes it the old version - seeing as it's a top of the range model you would expect it to come with the latest Android version.

You should read this, which pretty much destroys the 10.1 as an awful device

Starting off with an "Apple taliban" headline says enough.
