I jumped ship from Apple to the Samsung Galaxy S 3 and I've been less than impressed. Google Navigation crashing every time it's used. OS sluggish and buggy. Not charging properly.
Switched from the SIM only iPhone contract to this one a few months ago. Am I able to switch back without any massive charges i.e. paying off the rest of the contract? Can't go on with this phone!

If you're within your first 28 days see if you can exchange it for another s3 or similar handset.

If you're within your first 7 or 14 days you can try and return the phone depending on where you bought it from.

Would you be able to provide some more information. E.g which network, which plan, how long you've had it. As the above will not be valid on some networks etc...

Cheers for the reply. I'm well out of the initial period by about 2 or 3 months so that's why I'm wondering if I'm snookered. Was on the Orange iPhone 25 SIM-only plan, as I have my own iPhone 4 that's unlocked, and cancelled that for an 18 month Orange S3 contract.
Would just swapping the SIM work do you think?

Right, yep you'd have to stay on the contract you're currently on and still pay the same price every month. Now you can send the phone away to be repaired. This is free. However if you honestly don't like the phone and want to get rid of it then what i would recommend is selling the S3 (which you can for around £350 used) Then just use the sim in the iPhone 4.

The £350 ish you get from selling the phone will help pay the contract every month.

Alternatively you can cancel the contract by paying off your remaining months and go for a new one with a new phone and then just sell the iPhone 4 and S3 to fund the one off cancellation fee but this is just too complicated and too much hassle in my opinion. Its easier to just sell the S3, stay on the contract you're on, and use your sim in your iPhone 4.

I'm Guessing you're spending around £41 a month (or less). So if you sell the S3 for £350 you'll be paying a theoretical £26pm for the current contract which is the same as before.

To be honest, the handset sounds like it's faulty.

It's got to be worth having it sent away for repair before you make any decisions.
