Brat Pack film recommendations

I'm a bit of a sucker for an 80s trash movie. There are loads though.

Given I love The Breakfast Club and St Elmo's Fire (mainly for Judd Nelson and Rob Lowe), and wasn't overkeen on Pretty in Pink, anybody got any recommendations of where to go next?

St Elmos is my favourite.

Hon mentions to:
The Outsiders
Oxford Blues (Rob Lowe)
Youngblood (Rob Lowe, Patrick Swayze and a small part for Keanu)

Breakfast club and St Elmos Fire are the best two in my opion which you have already seen. It might not be a Brat Pack movie but another 80s classic is Ferris Bueller's Day Off

Well the best have all been mentioned, but if you leave most of the Brat Pack behind and just take one or two I would add:

The Sure Thing (1985) - one of my favourite films
Mannequin (1987)
Young Guns (1988)
Say Anything (1989)

and slightly going further afield

He Said, She Said (1991)

Probably easiest if the OP thinks of trying other John Hughes films rather than specifically Brat Pack ones..

I know, I was mainly trying to describe the era/type of film tbh

Thanks for all the suggestions. I really like the look of The Sure Thing and Say Anything - love John Cusack.

A good old skool Cusack movie is One Crazy Summer.

That film reminds me of Better off Dead. Another 80's comedy brat style movie.

Some kind of Wonderful is my ultimate fave but have you seen The Outsiders, has loads of stars in their most earliest roles, Rob Lowe, Tom Cruise, Emilio Estevez, Matt Dillon to name a few!! Loved all the brat pack movies though, trying to get my teenagers into them but they just don't get it like I did guess it's different now )-:

'The Sure Thing' is a cracking movie, as is 'The Outsiders'.

I always hated St. Elmo's Fire (the film, not the song, which is cheese-tastic). I found the film pretentious and too pleased with itself.

"The Outsiders"

Oh I spent way too much time of my angst filled youth on that film! - I can quote you the poem from it straight from my head if you want.

Hell I even read the book! (Something I never do)

MIne too!
Only one I own on DVD

Loved St Elmos but hated the Breakfast Club even though I went to see it at the cinema, saw About Last Night & Electric Dreams at the cinema too, liked those.
Say Anything was a good one, may just be the 'music moment'
Seen all the ones everyone has listed on here

I studied Robert Frosts poem Stay Gold for my GCSE so know that and of course the famous first paragraph in the novel...."When I stepped out into the bright light from the darkness of the movie house......" just love this film and even managed to convert my 18yr old son so long may it be enjoyed!

...."When I stepped out into the bright light from the darkness of the movie house... I had only two things on my mind. Paul Newman and the ride home.....
