If they tried to shove her into every scene with every character it'd just get annoying.
Arguably her involvement with Jack is already quite rushed. She'll prob have some scenes with others anyway. Denise wasn't mentioned in the spoilers. |

I don't think that's a bad thing. If she was being inserted in to every scene, people would just complain about her being shoved in our faces, like Derek was. To be fair, she knows Jack; she and Tanya have kids of a similar age, both about to start at the same school (not unreasonable that they'd bond over that, empty nest syndrome sort of thing); while she actually knows Ian and Phil as old friends. What would be the point inserting her into other ongoing stories that she has nothing to do with? She'll integrate in the coming months, and hopefully they won't balls it up like they did with other newcomers/returnees.

It's a shame she isn't interacting with those locals she already knows, aside from Ian and Phil who would obviously feature with her.
With Janine, Kat and Bianca TPTB had them interacting with everybody in the first few weeks of their returns. |

Yeah, I don't feel we are seeing enough of Sharon at the moment. All we have seen if Jack following her around like a puppy and her telling Lucy to forgive Ian.

well if she carries on the way she did in today's episode there won't be locals for her to interact with.

Well she's not doing bad up 'til now. She's had sex with one, single handedly cured Ian, put Lucy straight and insulted a few. She would have had a nice chat with Tracey, but she's not allowed to speak.

![]() It'll be interesting to see whether TPTB allow Sharon to interact with the Masoods on a regular basis eventually or whether she'll be kept with the usual suspects? I'll be dissapointed in Lorraine Newman if it's the latter.. |

Fundamentally she was in the right, they shouldn't have been gossiping but I think it's naturally for people to talk about something that big that effects where they live especially if you know the people also I just keep thinking how I would react to some random, who I don't know from Adam, calling me a busy body while I was having a conversation that didn't include that person, not very well. There was an element of swanning around from Sharon and yes she is original member but she has had a long break, much has changed and I think she needs to earn her stripes a little.

Well, Sharon just got out of a relationship that looked somewhat abusive to me, saved her son from a kidnapper, found one of her best mates in such a state, and now her other friend is probably going to get a breakdown, now that Ben, who she also knows, I think, is going down for murder.
Excuse her if she hasn't been socializing in the Vic just yet!! In good time, she will go for a drink more often, and probably talk to Kat or Alfie. Little Dennis will want to bring friends from school over, or play outside with the other kids, so she'll meet some of the Square's parents. She will go to get her hair done and stuff, so will be at the salon, and is probably not the only client. Now she is staying in the B&B, she'll be talking to, and maybe making friends with, the Foxes. She was right commenting on the conspiracy theory going on though, they were being a right old bunch of gossips, jumping to conclusions without knowing even half the story. |

Denise should know better about gossiping though, given it wasn't that long ago that her ex-husband was done for murder - and that was after he tried to make it look like she was the killer.
Same for Zainab after the year she's had. |

Its better to keep her low key with characters she previously knew, a little of sharon goes a long way. There is plenty of time to shoe horn her in to every scene before she decides she's leaving again.

Theres an obsession on here with Sharon interacting with all and sundry. She has only been back a week, give her time. If she was suddenly involved in everything at once it would be Sharon overkill. Who cares if she hasnt spoken to Janine or Alfie or Kat yet? Is it such a big deal?

That was about the scene earlier on in shop when she had a go at Denise, Zainab and a few others for saying there was no way Phil wasn't in on it when discussing Ben.

![]() It wasn't right. They may not have the whole story but they know a whole load more than her. Denise in particular knows that Phil was part responsible for her husbands death, that both Ben and Phil attacked an old man and that Ben nigh on killed her step son. Heather was known and loved in the community but she is nothing to Sharon. She should wait until she knows some facts before judging them. |
