I would rather stick pins in my eyes !!!

It is embarrassing to watch ( I caught the tail end on a morning programme)

FFS she has been accepted !!! She won for goodness sake

I liked Nadia in BB she wasn't my favourite ,But I was pleased for her that she won

But all this, "She has been through bad times etc "
well so have most people on the planet !!!

She should take her money and set up a business or something to support herself , And leave our TV screens
before she becomes hated and she will because she has no talent whats so ever

Judging by the smiley at the end of that, I'm sure you found that hilarious. Sadly it wasn't funny in the slightest.

Legally the birth certificate (in the UK anyway) would still confirm sex as male therefore it would be correct to address as 'He'.

You may call me ignorant if you like but if this criminal record (and having heard it I can confirm it is!) resulted in a custodial sentence then it wouldn't have to be served in a female prison (not till they change the law anyhow).

You should all be ashamed of yourselves. He, She or even IT! as you try to label her is a strong independent woman of great character. She is changing the bigotry she encountered in her youth so other transexuals will live free of pain and suffering. She is like a modern day Ghandi in that respect. Just because she is using her fame to bring a better tolerance to this world you ridicule her. Why. Did you all ridicule Nelson Mandela? Martin Luther King? I think not. So are you all just jealous of a beautiful woman who has found fame and some little wealth. She is laying roads towards a better world so buy her single and let her carry on this good work. If the song goes to number 1 then she will be on Parky or Ross or maybe even Trevor McDonald. She can then use these platforms as a political springboard to propel her message of unity , love and tolerance. If you buy Nadia's new single and make her number one, you may be able to turn around to your kids in the future and say "you know what, I helped HER become the JFK of this generation when others were being bigoted". So buy the song and feel proud you have made the world that much more of a better place.

Well the world would be a better place without hatred I suppose.

So your handle - is it the Big Brother contestant or the semi-precious stone you hate????? ;

Nadia should have better off released this in the Winter as it's facing killer competition from Band Aid 20.

It is a euphemism from a Japanese word.

Mmmmmmmm, I'm sure she can take it proudly on the chin.

I do think that is the funniest thing I have ever read.

no, she is using her fame to earn more money for herself, i don't see any proceeds of the single going to any charity to help any other people with diffucluties like she went through?

Maybe she is going to set up a merkin factory for disadvantaged Pre-Op Transit Vans. You just don't know how good a persons soul is till you offer a little trust.
Her 15 minutes of fame = 15 Golden Tickets to the great chocolate factory in the sky.

Mike TV move over a new chocolate lover is in town.

"maby" just doesn't cut it, you can't make an argument about how we should buy her single because she's had some difficult times (who hasn't?) and even go as far as to comparing her to Ghandi! when she is simply doing this for the money and to extend her undeserved fame just that little bit more.

I'm sorry but pretending to be a diva when doing "PANTO"
and trying to be a "FEMALE" singer in my eyes is milking every bit of fame she has left.
People go on about what she has been through.
I don't give a rats arse what people said, she went on big brother to get herself 5 mins of FAME, she is now milking that fame and sucking up people at the same time with her "oh my troubled past".
And truley if you are comparing her to GHANDI then you are a real sad person !
(sorry for any spelling mistake and bad grammer)

I understand the law has now changed in this country, but I doubt your pathetic ignorance will change and I can't quite understand why her sex is important in this discussion anyway

I didn't buy Nadia's single however. It's not really my taste in music, and to be honest I think her singing is pretty awful

If it were up to me Nadia would knock off that rubbish Feed The World song and grab herself a number one single. Surely you must agree she is more deserving, I haven't even heard of half of those people on that Band Aid song, but Nadia has given us all a lot of entertainment. Yes maybe people are right and we should not buy a record out of pity or that someone has had a hard time, but isn't that EXACTLY what buying that Band Aid single is doing?

It always amazes me when people start voicing opinions like:

and even more insulting:

On the bases of what I ask myself.

Personal experience or what they read in the "Save Our Santa" Sun

I personally have nothing against the woman, but I do have, albeit a limited, understanding of what she has been through and how she is trying to not only gain acceptance for herself from the GBP, but for the whole of the TS community too.

OK releasing the single might be for personal gain, good for her I say and if some people actually like the song and go out and buy it then what is so wrong in that?

Personally it's not to my taste, so I wont be purchasing it myself.. But hey..
Each to their own I guess

(The only reason why I would buy the Band Aid single is because it's for a good cause BTW.
I think the song and production stinks...
But as I said above..
Each to their own I guess )

But it is a way of focusing the media and invariably the General public on to what it means to be a TS woman in the public eye, and as such, helps people who have no experience of TS issues understand what Transsexuality is all about.

There will always be ignoramuses out there who, through no fault of their own, will have narrow-minded, bigoted opinions like the 2 above, but thankfully they are in the minority. (Like TS people themselves, which is why Nadia has been in her own way a benefit to the TS cause, because she got the GBP thinking about the injustices meted out by the likes of the "Evangelical Alliance" or "Christian Institute" to what is basically another "minority" group.)

I’m old enough to remember the stir that Dana International caused when she won the Eurovision Song Contest a few years back, but I don’t recall her getting as much abuse from the bigots and tabloids here as Nadia does.

Anyway it’s way past my bedtime.

I think I’ll finish here before it starts to look like a Rant.

Night Night.

Dana probably didn't get as much flack because it was difficult to determine her sex ....

Nadia however had the op, added breasts and thinks she is the bees knees as a woman - going as far as to presume she would make a great bond girl

It is brilliant isnt it?

The comparisons are just spot on. Ghandi, MLK, Mandela, JFK and Z lister milking 5 minutes of fame.

I'm sure she'll get her audience with The Pope anytime soon.
