A feud is where two, or more, people throw insults back at each other. Madonna to my mind has never been involved in a feud.
Madonna/Mariah/Cher was nothing more than tit for tat banter and each woman has consistantly said how they respect each other in latter years. As for the Elton thing. Madonna hasn't responded to him. Well unless you call laughing him off as a response. So again I don't class that as a feud. The only one coming off bad in this is Elton. |

Since when has Madonna been in a feud with Elton, it's all one sided.
Piers Morgan is just pathetic and Madonna has't said one bad word about the bitter man, so how is that a fued. |

It's not strictly one sided with Elton, she was just as bad in 2005 when she took the piss out of his hair on Parkinson, a long time after the scandal had died down

She hardly had a fued with Paltrow but i wonder why they felt out. They were like BFF's.
And she did have a fued with MJ? She went to the oscars with him and they hung out for like one night but there was never ever any bad blood. |

its all media manipulation.
Madonna has never had a feud..Mariah/Whitney/Cher all have had digs at one another. And in this weeks Radio Times there is a special on Elton Johns BBC Radio 2 show where he said he has reinvoked his passion for music again being in control on his own show and has been "massively complimentary towards Madonna" the Radio Times says also he is quoted as saying "It is had for women in this business. Some are not good at handling their careers, Singers like KD Lang could be a massive star but i dont think she wants to be. But when you come to Madonna she really took the industry by the scruff of the neck and made massive opportunities for other women in music and entertainment, such as gaga and Katy Perry. But Nina SImone is my favourite artist of the 20th Century, i was in awe of her..." Source: Radio Times (page 20)

She didn't. Michael said that after their Oscar date he went off her because she was too sexual and claimed Madonna wished she was a man because she doesn't get the same screaming fans that guys do!! Which never made any sense given Madonna had fans fainting at her concerts!!
Later in the 90s though he said that her transformation from Erotica to Ray Of Light was incredible and had nothing but respect for her. After Michael died Madonna was the only other person in the world who could have given that VMA speech. It wouldn't have worked coming from anyone else. |

And that is true Madonna is the only other person to have experienced the amount of mass media hysteria that MJ has....oh and Elvis too but i dont think he was available to create a speech....nor really have been emotionally committed to anyway! But Madonnas speech came from the heart and you could really really tell. Plus i think it started when Madonna wanted In The Closet to have so much more meaning than he wanted, she said in an Wossy interview promoting Erotica that when she worked with MJ she wanted the title to become he song BUT MJ only wanted the title to be misleading! which is a shame because i would have felt In The Closet would have been something truly EPIC with them both together...still a chooon though

And, Gwyneth Paltrow aside ( their fallout is completely fabricated), Madonna didn't have a feud with the ones mentioned. Perhaps some had a feud with her 'cause they started it. Janet Jackson, Piers Morgan, Cher and obviously Elton John spring to mind. |

Not a lot
- but to answer your question, the OP appeared first sometime last year, actually around the same time, with similar kind of threads. At first it sounded different and quite engaging but as he posted more threads they became quite idiosyncratic - or incomprehensible even!? - long-winded and repetitive but still revolving around the same artists. And it'd be fair to say that it didn't take before they started to grate on a lot of FM (myself included)...Anyway, I didn't pay attention to OP's name when I first read the post/thread but it's him, no doubt about that!

- but unfortunately and sadly Elton John's one is real. Whatever is saying in Radio Times is pretty accurate but I can't take it seriously. Sounds more like an attempt to controlling the damages on his own image than paying a tribute to Madonna's achievements - note the past tense on 'I was in awe of her'. After all he called her recently a C & fairground stripper...Can't make it more insulting than that for someone who's meant to be complimentary...![]() Thinking of it - Lady Gaga's response 2 M's comments during one of her BTW's concert could be fall into the Feud category. It wasn't obvious she was targeting M in her comments but her own comments were not far off... |
