I hear over at GB that Radio Times also has Doctor Who previewing for next week. The date should be locked down tomorrow at the latest if it's September 1st (<- which it looks like).

ETA: There's also an image of the RT preview.

There is a very suspicious gap on Sept 1st between 18:30 and 20:00 on BBC1 in my EPG data from radiotimes.com with 'No Data' written in it, followed by an even more suspicious gap on BBC3 from 21:00 to 23:00.
Any ideas what that's about? More Confidential?

I doubt that the BBC would have another DW Confidential having already said that the last series was the final one.

Is this the radio time UNOFFICALY conforming the start date

http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2012-...tor-who-teaser

In the Arictie about the save the daleks trailer it says at the bottom
Quote:
Series seven of Doctor Who is "coming soon" to BBC1, with a widely rumoured air date of Saturday 1 September
Just wondered what others thinks as i haven't seen radio times quote rumoured start dates before

I hope it is as it been to long sice christmas and the last new episode

Until the BBC confirm it, then it's not official. As they can change their scheduling the week before airing, there is no other source for official confirmation. Until it has been made official by the BBC - the only official source - then anyone who claims it is official can't honestly be saying they know how television scheduling for the BBC works.

And if they get it right, then it's a happy coincidence based on an intelligent and informed guess - but nothing more.

Yes, I recall similar "official" start dates for Torchwood S3, even down to a promised article in the next week's Radio Times (which didn't appear of course).

Released from whatr? The Daleks being released from the Asylum? Huh?

Do you mean the airdate, perhaps?

The television schedules are not meteorological seasons. And in that, September has always been considered the Autumn season for shows.

September as a month is clearly classed as Autumn, regardless of the whole equinox and 21st arguments.

Glad it's got a date (subject to last minute changes I'm guessing!), but wonder how this will work in America? Double bill catch up, I'm thinking.
