Vodafone
I have just upgraded my mobile broadband which i asked them that i want to keep my currant price plan and upgrade to the latest mifi which they agreed if i enter a new 2 year contract.
My price plan which is a old one which is £10 which i get 3gb of data a month on I was told that they can't actually guarantee that plan 100% that Vodafone won't change my plan during the 2 years and they might review at some point and offer a more upto date one. Surely they can't do that during your contract and if they did you would have grounds to have the contract terminated |

They can increase it with inflation, several operators have done this year.

Yeah, that definitely doesn't sound right.
Did you question the legality of that when they mentioned it? |

I guess it would be legally possible for them to change the contract but they'd have to give you at least 30 days warning and you'd be able to cancel if the changes were 'materially detrimental'.
If they tried to change it without prior notice, that would be illegal and you could cancel then as well. So, either way, if they tried to do more than simply raising their prices in line with RPI, you'd be able to walk without any penalty. |

Cell upgrades
Aee Vodafone upgrading 2G cells to EDGE as I can now receive EDGE at home whereas I've never had it before.
Also I've had trouble with 2g data but i assume it's related. Or is my iPhone dying? |

No idea at all but it may be more beneficial to start a new thread with a new topic rather than hijacking someone else's and going completely off topic In the process.
