Certainly some poor ratings for the soaps last night. It does look as though Paralympics have taken some audience away from the 7pm Emmerdale and Eastenders, then followed by the added effect of Waterloo Road clashing with the ITV soaps would have dented all 3 down even further in the 8pm hour.

Bit surprised this did so poorly. Wasn't expecting a massive rating what with the similar sporting competition but 2 million would of been nice. Guess it goes to show just how much of an effect the Olympics profile did to ratings

Some decent ratings there for Ch4. I would like to see what sort of ratings the extra multichannels have been getting. Freeview channel 304 has been showing the Paralympics with no adverts or studio chat and is much more efficient to watch. I gather pay TV viewers have even more streams. There could be more viewers watching than what the Ch4 figures suggest. Hollyoaks saw no improvement though, which isn't good.
