ipod help screen frozen
My daughter has just come downstairs with her 4th g ipod (8gb) touch and screen is white with vertical green yellow and blue stripes. she had just opened an app!
I have tried to do rest home key and off button reset but nothing. Plugged into laptop not recognised. I have done a quick search online but they just suggest the above! I think the battery was fully charged! Any ideas, before i tell my daughter it has died? |

When you performed the home+sleep button reset, did it switch off? Normally takes about 5 seconds of holding the buttons before it switches off?

Yes, you may need to hold the home and power buttons for up to 20 seconds for it to reboot.

If the above doesn't work and you can't get it sorted may be worth taking into an Apple store if you have one nearby. If the genius can't get it working and it is under a year old and under warranty they will replace it. If it is out of warranty you may be able to blag a free replacement, but if not it will be about £80
