They are so truly loyal, when all your so called human friends have abandoned you your dog is there always, he/she stays there thru good and bad, places a paw on ur lap if he/she see you crying and upset. I love dogs, they the best pets/friends ever.

yeah so? some of the conversations i have with humans are unbearable shit and some humans just bang on and on when you fancy some peace and quiet, often about themselves. The human species is loud, selfish and destructive, the dog is just a loyal companion who will lay quietly by yourside.
i have noticed that most of the things that humans talk about are what they are going to buy or what they want or what they own, boring to the extreme, my dog knows every word i say and they are so in tune with everything, they have a good judgement of character,♥♥♥♥ love my dog

Really must remind my dogs about that as I am sure they understand a lot of what we say to them, to the point we have to spell some words now, and they chat back Molliepops is very vocal and makes sounds we understand too.
Nonsense. Dogs have a novelty personality. They're ALWAYS there which is nice but gets tedious and predictable. I've noticed people on the dog team put the cats down by saying cats leave and don't always come to you when called. That's part of the reason cat lovers love cats. They have a more human quality.

I'm a cat lover (and owner) but I love dogs too. Dogs are very loyal, loving and just so grateful for any affection you give whereas cats expect affection as their right and can be a bit haughty and disdainful. I don't have a problem with cats' unpredictability, I admire and respect their stubbornness and their ability to do what they want, when they want. Dogs probably are man's best friend whereas cats have conditions attached to their love
It's possible to love both cats and dogs and appreciate their different qualities. I know when I've been sad and depressed in the past my cat Tabitha, much as I loved her, was pretty useless (my cat Bernard is more sensitive to my mood - but he's more like a dog anyway) - the dogs I've had, back in my teens, were always a great comfort.
Dogs are lovely but most are easily pleased, you have to work hard to gain a cat's love and loyalty.

Everyone I know who has pets have both cats and dogs, including myself. They are great in their different ways.
I love how my cats don't need me to rush home after a day out to give them company and let them out for a wee. They can take care of themselves for days on end.
I also love how my dogs rush into bed with me in the morning for a snuggle, greet me when I come in and look at me with those big soulful eyes as if they know what I am saying.
At this very minute I have two dogs and two cats sleeping on my bed around me. Most people would think that is a nightmare but I love it.
