1986 : Arthurs breakdown - Den/Angie divorce papers
1987 : Christmas in Pete Beales flat, with the Fowlers, Beales, Lofty, Den, Simon Wicks etc - Annie Smith in hospital 1989 : Boxing Day treasure hunt organised by Arthur - Cindy goes into labour (this was not an xmas day episode but was a good one!) 1992 : Mandy goes home to try & find her mother on Xmas day - Arthur is in the middle of his affair - A happy ending (for a change!) of most of the square residents including Phil Mitchell, celebrating Xmas in Pauline's house 1993 - Beales first christmas without Pete, celebrations at Kathy's flat. Theres a few for you. |

It seems that back in the day the whole show used to revolve around the Fowler/Beales and The Watts, then The Mitchells, Slaters and Now Shane Richie
, Jessie Wallace and Nigel Harman  .

I quite like the 1 where all the mitchells are in the Vic and theres a big argument, between Kathy, Phil, Tiffiany, Grant, Peggy, Joe and Lorraine. think it was 1996.
Quite like the 1986 with Den and Angie, The 1 where Sharon left the 1st time was good too |

New Years Eve was just as good, in one action packed episode we had Phil, Lisa and Mark rowing over Phil being allowed see Louise. We had Pauline and Peggy's classic over the bar slanging match, meanwhile over at the Fowlers Trevor broke in and terrorised Little Mo before she whacked him with the iron. Little Mo then flees to the Slaters in which she cries "Its Trevor! I've killed him!" Minutes later, walking past the Fowlers after a row in the Vic with Mark and Lisa, Phil hears his baby crying. He kicks in the door and takes Louise back to the Vic, causing uproar once again. I was on the edge of my seat for that episode. |

She also left the Square on Xmas Day that year too! lol Phil confronted Lisa in the Square, after a phone call to the Fowlers in which he just said "I want to see my baby"

Yeh I think he was, theres been one or two Albert Square been banged up for Xmas. Grant Mitchell was locked up when Tiffany said he pushed her down the stairs, an then Beppe the local bobby at the time backed her claim and tried to frame Grant for attempted murder. We all know the swine got out and eventually drove Tiffany to her death courtesy of Frank and the bonnet of his car.
Was Arthur also in jail one Xmas for scamming the Hamper club money? And Dirty Den yes was in jail for Xmas 88. Although I forget what for. |
