I used to read Perez back when he first started out, but stopped when he repeatedly made fun of Adam Sandler's (then toddler) daughter. He said she was ugly. That was the last straw for me. What kind of low-life makes fun of the way a child looks?

He is a horrible man, but they are also a horrible fan base, the tweet about how the fanbase could end his career shows how delusional they are (obviously not all of them).

I hate how Perez think's he is all high and mighty now he doesn't say disgusting things about people, forgets very easily that man when it comes to what he says.

His outing of Lance Bass was awful IMO. He mocks people who want to keep their private lives private, but then when they do come out he's all "Well done, that was so brave, I'm suporting you 100%". He's an awful human being.

The absolute worst is when these stars are trying to have a bit of conversation with their real friends and some of it is quite funny to read (I'm not a Twitter fan by any means) and some jokey matey fun is ruined by loads of teen fangirls trying to push into that conversation and sound cool, followed by 'follooow me!'.

I mean, fupp off, lol! Enjoy the bands but just leave them alone, stop bombarding them so they'll throw you (hysterical fans) a crumb. It's pathetic.

Surely the whole thing with Perez is that he used to sit quietly writing his little bitchy blog, then people started reading it so it became hugely popular. As time moved on, as so often happens, he gradually became more extreme until now he's virtually a caricature of his original self. I haven't read him for several years now, but I always took what he said as being very tongue-in-cheek.

BIB - Terry Wogan used to do this!! I remember the things he used to say about the child who played Pam & Bobby Ewing's son in Dallas waaaaay back in the 80s - he asked whether the kid was "still taking the ugly pills" and similar comments. Thing is, everybody knew he was joking from the twinkle in his eye; that kind of humour is virtually impossible to put across in print. Maybe Perez needs to think about that before he posts, but maybe those who choose to read his blogs should consider it too?

BIB - So true. As is the rest of the post. When I was a teen, we certainly weren't creepy like some fans are on Twitter I know creepy fan stalkers have always existed but the type of fans mentioned in your post....I'm not so sure
