the post from SES was asked for by myself and was written in a hurry at the RIO conference who by someone who did not understand all the ins and outs ...so

    1. 2F covers ENTIRE range 10.7-12.75
    2. of the 48 euro/UK transponders they can cover any part of that range
    3. ALL 1N TRAFFIC will go to 2F at 04.50 CET 4/12/12

The BBC channels that have switched aren't yet in service. The ones you get aren't expected to move till next year after 2E is launched. Check channel 4-HD and the Channel 5 S-D channels tommorow.

SES documents published a year ago seem to contradict the frequency range ...

    NO C4 -7

I have woken up to all the 'usual' channels working OK with the EXCEPTION of ITV 1+1 Yorkshire which is breaking up. (I do have heavy rain) but being between Toulouse and Perpignan S France this is a worrying sign.

UPDATE: 10 mins later it is now working fine...maybe a Glitch?

SO AT 7.00 CET ALL CHANNELS APPEAR OK with no obvious drop in Signal.

    BBC hasn't changed.

You need to look at the following transponders ...

    Transponder 57, 10.964 H, 22000, 5/6, DVB-S/MPEG-2, (Channel 5 (regions 1-5) 5 USA, 5 USA+1, 5*, 5*+1 and Channel 5 +1)
    Transponder 59, 10.994 H, 22000, 5/6, DVB-S/MPEG-2, (ITV1 regions)
    Transponder 63, 11.053H, 22000, 5/6, DVB-S/MPEG-2, (ITV1 regions and ITV1 London HD)
    Transponder 68, 11.126 V, 22000, 5/6 DVB-S/QPSK, (Channel Four HD and 4 Seven)

All transponders will be on the UK Spotbeam.

You may also see a difference between horizontal and vertical.

    See following ...

What size dish are you using and where is your nearest town?

Martinj1, you should check the following frequencies:

    1) 10964/hor.
    2) 10994/hor.
    3) 11052/vert.
    4) 11127/vert
    plus
    5) 11024/hor.

These frequencies are effected by the present switchover.
The others are not until March 2013.

    Hi Terry and all

    everything as per earlier posting

think but not sure its either 1,2 or 1,4 dish--nearest town to me is Silves (central algarve)

so you say the bbc is still to switch, now I know what the log line on Jaws2 was "just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water

still do not understand why itv yorks is gone but itv london is on?

still getting all the add on ITV channels tyne tees granada etc

so the summation of this nights switch over is the loss of all channel 5 output and 4-7

Surely anything on 16th Dec is going to be VERY minor - can't see the BBC agreeing to a move in the immediate run-up to Christmas. Where's the 16th Dec story come from, I've forgotten amongst all the speculation!
