Makes no sense whatsoever... You have created a fictional device that happens to have you perfect 4" screen (which coincidentally is the heavily tipped iphone 5 size )

But as you say if it's any bigger no iphone for you then?

Ofcoarse it makes sence, it's why the Galaxy S2 was so popular, people loved the size of it, Many of those didn't buy an S3 for that very reason. Or is what ever phone you buy the perfect one for everyone then?

If the iPhone is bigger than a Galaxy S2 I will definetly not buy it. It amazes me of how rude you are towards other peoples opinions... They aren't wrong, it's their opinion!

Much like you saying people's choice to buy a note is ridiculous or silly yeah.

I am pretty sure you have previously stated the s2 is too big or is that until apple look like following suit?

And far from it I am one of those people you class as silly I own a note however I don't come up with any screen size that I claim to be about perfect just doubt pretty much anything you say

By the way how many of these s2 owners didn't buy an S3 because of its size

The iPhone screen is enough for me and I have big hands. I see these other phones with massive screens and I don't really see the point if I'm honest.

Well I used to have a Nexus One, which is roughly the same size as an iPhone...I now have a Galaxy Nexus, and iPhones and others feel small and cramped to me now...the larger screens are amazing for movies, apps/games and especially texts/emails, the keyboard is bigger too so there's less opportunity for you to press the wrong key. I thought they looked stupid at first but 4" and above is very good imo....I think the Galaxy Note is a step too far though.

When you look at the note you do think that but when you use it you realise you could not go back

Or like me, you don't buy such a huge device as you realise it will not fit your life style.

It's not just size, but weight that is an important factor. In the past a big screen meant a corresponding weight. A Galaxy S3 weighs less than an iphone 4.

No I have never said the S2 was to big, I did however say the S3 was to big when released before all these iPhone leaks of a 4 inch screen...

Most of my mates didn't by an S3 due to it being to big, they opted for smaller Android phones, so those people certainly exist.

No I don't think so....my friend has one and loves one, but I think it's just too big, and it looks really weird putting such a massive phone to your ear, it's not to my taste personally. I think the Galaxy Nexus is just about right for me, any bigger and I don't think I'd be happy using a phone like that.

Horses for courses isnt it. I use my phone (currently have a HTC Titan) for web browsing mostly and I like the big screen (I find the iPhone screen too small) but someone else will find my phone too big. In fact I am looking at going bigger, fancy me a Note

Well it's only something you can really appreciate when you use for a while but if your happy with nexus size fine.

The note when not actually set against other phones is not that big when you consider what you use it for. It only currently seems big in comparison to other phones and the fact that we are still in the hangover from the desire to make phones smaller and smaller. When you consider the actual physical size difference to other phones is just an inch either way.

If it was just for calls then yes but modern phones are only about the image produced on the screen largely. You wouldn't think of compromising with any other form of visual device be it tv, monitor etc why would you with a phone that is used for far more that just calls.

Anyhooo I much prefer it now but unfortunately it does limit me to what is available at least for now.

The Note does seem a lot bigger when someone is holding it up at a gig to take photos and obscuring your view of the band!

Yep saw someone at a gig with a HTC titan and thought what the *** is that?!

Now I've got used to carrying a 7" tablet around with me, I've found my 4.3" screen on the Galaxy S2 seems too small. Could definitely go bigger....although.... not sure there's much need, as I carry a 7" tablet around with me!

Actually, I didn't buy the biggest TV I could find. I picked a TV that was a good size for the room its in (42" in my case) and fits the way I consume TV.

I could easily have afforded a much larger set, and it would have fitted in the room, but I felt it would have dominated the room. Given that I only spend about 2 hours a day watching TV, 42" seems about right.

Just like a phone that's a mini tablet might suit some people, it doesn't suit me. I like to travel light, keys wallet and phone in my jeans/shorts without too many ugly bulges.

I'm not sure why you think everyone has think the same and want the same.

priceless... because yeah a 42' tv is not big at all is it. What would your view on a 42' tv have been ten years ago then.

Really not sure why you assume I want you to think the same as me at all in fact quite the opposite suits me perfectly.

I can see why they are suited to some people and they do have their advantages but they are just not to my taste. It is funny though how for years the manufacturers aimed to make the smallest and compact phone and now they are getting bigger again

The Note looks ridiculous imo. I saw someone on the train with it and I thought it was a Kindle or something.

Yeah at the end of the day a phone is a personal thing so there is no right or wrong, but I did have to get used to the Nexus as it is still bigger than most phones. But lmao yeah I think the Note looks a bit silly unless you are a big person it just looks a bit silly....like those people who take photos with their iPads...just looks a bit awkward.

It's easy to get a 60" TV, but I don't want one. Just like I don't want a Note, One X or SG3.

The reason I wrote that you think everyone wants the same thing is your text:

"You wouldn't think of compromising with any other form of visual device be it tv, monitor etc why would you with a phone that is used for far more that just calls".

Well, I and many other people do "compromise" on TVs and monitors because size isn't everything. I also "compromise" on my phone as having the best phone for surfing and watching movies isn't worth the inconvenience of carrying a huge device with me 24/7 to make phone calls with.

I find your blinkered views "Priceless" too.

It's also kinda different, a phone you often use with one hand walking down the street therefor for many people it needs to be totally usable with one hand which I don't find I can comfortably do with bigger phones. A TV on the other hand just isn't a portable device therefor it being huge doesn't really matter as it sits in a fixed location.

As others have said I think many people using the Note to make phone calls look ridiculous, like something out of a Dom Jolly sketch.

And I've just realised how random your latest comment is. I wouldn't have a 4" smartphone 10 years ago either, so what has this got to do with my not wanting a huge phone this year or a huge TV?

Try and keep your thought process to one post.

If your happy with your phone good on ya dont need to defend it to me - the bit in bold says it all.
