I don't usually carry a TV everywhere I go though (train, long flights etc) .

I rather liked the size of the S2, so my next phone I get will have a screen that size although I haven't felt a great need to upgrade tbh, I'm more interested in getting a SSD for my Lenovo laptop lol.

I don't think my next phone will be an iPhone though as I'm not keen on the leaked pictures and a lack of NFC seems like an oversight as I think it will start to take off over the next 12 months.

So basically what I want is a small thin phone with a screen of about 4 to 4.5 inches that fills the devices as much as possible (limited bezel) with a quad core CPU and GPU, (possibly 4G?) and a battery that lasts all day under heavy use... I know I'm not asking much but does such a phone currently exist?

As a general rule-of-thumb with phones, you have power, long battery life and thinness. You may choose any two out of the three!

GNote has all three - looks like the N2 even more

Jesus, is swordman still here trying to troll iPhone users? I thought he'd have been banned for trolling by now, to be honest.

As for the Galaxy Note, I find it ridiculous. I guess if you area women and chuck it in your handbag...but even then its a mini-tablet”

i aint a woman and I am also above the playground point and look at the silly man with his huge phone attitude some (not you) have shown. The Note happily fits into a shocksock....available for all top smartphones and then into the front pocket of my jeans with no discomfort.

And a wheelbarrow to cart it all around with him.

Yep, Im with you on that one too. I guess watching films on the move is frowned upon yet playing games or emailing or surfing on the move is actively encouraged.
