Just joined this forum and recently bought the Humax box in the subject.
Can any one explain in very plain terms how this box works with BBC iPlayer and also the ITV equivalent

Hi, if you have a reasonably fast broadband connection, then plug that into the appropriate socket on the back of the box. Then go into the box's menu under Network, set it to DHCP and it should pick up an IP address, if it doesn't, then you will need to enter the values manually. Once you have an IP address, you should be able to select On Demand from the program guide and choose BBC IPlayer or the ITV one.
