Digital Spy Forums redirecting to porn?

Anybody else having this problem today?

Twice when I've click onto threads, I'm being redirected to porn sites? It happened once on the Big Brother forum and then again on the X Factor forum.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, was just wondering if this was happening to anyone else or if I need to run anti-virus.

No, it hasn't happened to me. This site has never redirected me anywhere.

Time to do a malware scan.

It happened to me when i tried to read a wedding thread. As im on an ipad i assumed i must have accidently touched something without realising. Thought it was a bit odd that a family forum would have an ad for a porn site!

Are you sure it not the adds, what ever threwad title you been looking at, the adds, try to match these titles, so porn = porn... kind of, but were not getting any adds for porn, maybe for viagra

I'm on my iPad too so didn't think it would be a malware problem. At least it's happening to somebody else, I was wondering if a visit to the Apple Store would have been necessary.

What is a malware scan? Can it be done on an Ipad?

    Thank you :)

Apple products are renowned for not contracting viruses so malware shouldn't be a problem. I think the problem is with DS.

Can an IPad get malware? I don't think it can.

It happened to me earlier this afternoon on my iPad when I was looking at the Advice forum, and a page popped up advertising Local Slags or something. Since I've had the iPad for just a couple of days and it's the first one I've owned, I was considerably taken aback, so it's interesting to hear that someone else had the same problem.

On a PC I'd run malware scans, but I didn't know what to do with the iPad. I'm assuming (perhaps wrongly) that it's a DS problem.

I had it once this morning, it was the first time ever on DS. It wasn't a major link, I was just trying to get onto the last post in a thread, on the IPad those links are small anyway if you don't really expand the page.
I didn't hang around long enough to see what it contained, but it was a surprise.
