Julie comes across as insincere and the big act prior to and in the diary room was ridiculous.. I know someone posted that maybe Julie misheard the comment Colleen made about the custard pies.the words.everyone and i cannot be mistaken.

It really makes me laugh sometimes the way posters jump on a housemate because they are coming across as "fake" or "false" as if BB is some kind of competition to win sainthood! Of course there will always be falseness in there, Aaron who won last year's show was applauded for it and won by a considerable margin because of it, the only reason I didn't like him was because he had the audacity to look down on others who didn't have the same "standards" as he had!

Julie, on the other hand is being herself, while putting on her trademark act, and takes everyone as she finds them, and just nominates them if she doesn't like them, but there really is nothing nasty about her! I am still loving her in the house!

They said Julian had 4 noms, The Situation 3 noms, I also think that Lorenzo has 3 noms as well and then we have Cheryl, Coleen and I think Rhian with 2 noms, plus we have Lorenzo and "The Situation" to still vote!

So there will be at least 3 maybe 4 or 5 people up this friday. Depends who Lorenzo and "The Situation" vote for!

That is SO true!

I work with a bloke who is exactly the same. He repeatedly has to announce anything he's done that's half decent, as if it somehow outshines his vile personality that we all have to put up with.

He recently had a weeks stay in hospital - you can guess how many visitors he had..

There are only Mike and Ashley left to nominate, and I can see both nominating Coleen. Ashley won't nominate Mike, but can see at least one of them if not both, nominating Julian.

Why does she need a makeover? The woman is 70 years of age for goodness sake, surely she should be allowed to dress and wear her hair however way she sees fit! She has given enough of her life trying to look the part for telly, she is now in her retirement years and should be allowed to relax about how she looks!

Personally I think she looks 100 times better than any of those botoxed out older women whose faces look like over stretched balloons! The only exceptions to this are Joan Collins and Stephanie Beacham, but they were fortunate enough to be blessed with very good looks to begin with, so fair play to them!

I can understand the comments, I do think a new Haircut would help her, but I think the hair is her "Trademark".

I think you have made some very good points here.

As I said above in reply to the other post(s), I think a new hairstyle would do her the world of good, but I can also

I think a lot of people actually forget that Julie is 70.
I posted a similar comment in another post about her smoking, to be fair on her, for a 70 year old who smokes
heavily, I actually don't think she looks too bad.

When Julie is dressed and made up, I personally think she looks great for her 70 years.

As you say she is in her retirement years and if she is comfortable then good for her. It is just the public perception
though nowadays, that "Celebrities" get so much work done to themselves that we actually expect them to look falsely & deliberately younger because they have the money to do so and are in the public eye.

To be fair on the lady, she hasn't really changed much, from the very young Bet Lynch at all. Yes of course she is more wrinkled/weathered and is carrying a few extra pounds.
We should actually compliment the lady for being one of the few Celebrity OAP's that isn't Botoxed to the max!

The couldn't care less attitude is beginning to expose Julie the actress. I suspect the insult Coleen made about Bet Lynch wasn't far off the truth. Julie's personality is the same as that characters'.
The nurturing motherly figure Julie has displayed so far is waring her down now and soon she will be snapping at everyone. She has a reputation for being a diva and I can well believe it.
It's a shame microphones were off in that car on the way to the supermarket so we didn't get to hear what Rhian had told Jasmine.
But Julie is a very watchable housemate, it would be nice to see more of the others though.
